The weight
Black Bear Brand terry is 30oz. That is heavy terry, and it hangs and moves like it. It holds its shape through a long winter of wear.
Made in the USA, all of it
The 30oz terry is made entirely in the United States. It is produced here, cut and sewn in Seattle, and garment dyed here in our own colors. The seams carry a vintage stitch throughout.
The color
Garment dyeing means the color goes on after the piece is sewn. The thread, the ribbing and the cloth take the dye together, and every piece settles into its color a little its own way. Ours come in Charcoal Grey, Hunter Green, Navy, Old Money Green, Vintage Rose and Royal, along with the natural terry.
The cut
The 30oz Terry Pants have an elastic and drawstring waist. I wear a medium, and it fits relaxed without being oversized. The set is the 30oz Terry Hoody, the 30oz Terry Crew, the pants and the 30oz Terry Shorts. There is also a French terry zip hoody, garment dyed in Vintage Rose and Charcoal Grey.
As a gift
A sweatsuit is the most personal gift that does not look personal. It goes on in the morning, on the plane, after the gym, on the couch on Christmas Day. A good one will be in his life for a long time.
